Privacy Policy

General Traffic: Someplace That’s Green uses Google Analytics for the purpose of helping me see which posts are most useful/popular with my awesome readers so I can improve my blog and make sure I’m posting the stuff you all want to read.  This uses first-party cookies.  This enables Google Analytics to collect data about my traffic via Google advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers.  This blog does not currently use any Google-related data for advertising purposes.

Advertisements: Someplace That’s Green shares information with a third-party advertiser, Amazon.com.  Amazon.com may place or recognize cookies on your browser for the purpose of serving relevant advertisements.  Cookies may also be used to analyze and optimize your content and reading experience.  Having advertisers helps me to pay my web hosting fees and buy amazing ingredients to cook.

You can turn off the use of cookies at any time by changing your browser settings to not allow cookies.

Someplace That’s Green contains links to other web sites, and I take no responsibility for the contents or policies of those sites.

This blog will not facilitate the merging of personally-identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information collected through any Google advertising product or feature.  Honestly I have no idea how to do that anyway so you’re safe.  🙂

This privacy policy is subject to change without notice and was last updated on August 7th, 2014.

DISCLOSURE POLICY

If you click on product links from my website and choose to purchase products through those links, I am an “affiliate” and will receive a small percentage of income from that purchase.  Your price stays the same, they just send me a little.  I will be very appreciative and likely will spend my meager earnings at my local farmers’ markets, so the Salt Lake City area farmers will be very appreciative too.

Someplace That’s Green is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

OTHER

I have personally made these recipes – or my husband has! – and all of the photos are taken by me.  I believe that recipes are for sharing, so please feel free to use and modify my recipes, but also please give credit and don’t steal my photos.  Much appreciated!

I will only recommend products within blog posts that I would recommend to a friend, not for the sole purpose of advertising them but because I like the products myself and think they are worth sharing.
